Alright after a loooooong hiatus, I'm back. I still struggle with figuring out what to write, but I'll do my best. Since my last post, a LOT has changed - and is part of the reason I've been away. I started a new job in Cambridge, MA at a company called Six Red Marbles and we've been working practically non-stop on our current project. We finally have a few days of down time in between release candidates to take a break. I'm looking forward to being able to talk about it more once it's launched. It's been a lot of long, long hours but that's not so bad when you're working with a great team.

I also *finally* upgraded from my PowerBook to a new generation MacBook Pro. I had been needing to upgrade as long as a year prior, but didn't have the financial means to do so. When I finally did, when I went to get the info on the latest models, rumors started circulating about the now released MacBook Pros. I decided to wait it out a few more months until they were finally released. I picked mine up the day they came out while on a business trip in Danbury, CT. I was lucky in that there was a mall with an Apple store just a mile down the road from my hotel. I also lucked out in that the sales associate gave me the student discount - even though I was quite honest about the fact that I was no longer a student. I do develop education-based web sites, though; so perhaps that counts for something. Either way, no complaints here.
